Plio-Pleistocene climate transition

Global climate changes drastically across the Pliocene-Pleistocene transition, characterized by the intensification of Northern Hemisphere Glaciation, after which the amplitude of change in glacial cycles become stronger. To investigate how the changes occur in space, a global network of paleoclimate records are compiled and analyzed.
